Sunday; Belongs To The Families And Their Lives.

Sunday has become the best day for television, hands down, offering plenty of variety for the whole family even well after the kids have gone to bed.

First, you have your Sunday sports. From the NFL to the biggest NASCAR races, Sunday afternoons are often built around our classic American sporting events. During baseball season, every team plays on Sunday, and the NBA builds its entire season schedule around marquee Sunday afternoon matchups. All four of golf’s majors and other big tournaments build to a crescendo on Sunday afternoons, offering tense, thrilling action the whole family can enjoy. You can find a quick rundown here

Later at night, after dinner, dad can settle in and catch up on the news with “60 Minutes,” before the entertainment starts in prime time. Many networks and cable channels offer a rebroadcast of a popular movie on Sundays, and for those that like competition, The Amazing Race provides plenty of that. After the kids are in bed, Sunday nights offer some of the most acclaimed titles on television: Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Californication, True Blood, and Big Love all headline Sunday nights in various times of the year. There’s no doubt about it: Sundays are built for entertainment.
